Hampel, Louis F. and Dorothy C. Memorial Scholarship
The endowed Louis F. and Dorothy C. Hampel Memorial Scholarship was established by Dr. Robert L. Hampel in memory of his parents' dedication to the College of Business Administration. Author of a business statistics textbook and a vice president of United Airlines, Louis F. Hampel began (1933-1942) and finished (1968-1974) his career on the faculty of the College of Business Administration, where Dorothy C. Hampel took courses, including her future husband's finance class ("tough, but I got an 'A,'" she'd boast).
The Hampel Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in finance, enrolled full time in the College of Business Administration, and enrolled in Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Honors Program. The scholarship is renewable as long as the recipient remains in good standing with the Honors Program.
