Vazquez, Dr. Luis and Bonnie Memorial Scholarship
The Dr. Luis and Bonnie Vazquez Memorial Scholarship was established in 2021 by the children of Dr. and Mrs. Vazquez: Luis, Mark, Roger, Lori, Rebecca and Michael. All their children are graduates of St. Clairsville High School and two of their children, Dr. Roger Vazquez (BS, 81) and Michael Vazquez (BA 91, MA 93) are graduates of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.
Dr. and Mrs. Vazquez provided decades of medical service to the community of St. Clairsville as physician and nurse. In addition, Dr. Vazquez served on the St. Clairsville School Board and volunteered for decades as the Red Devils' team physician. After the passing of Dr. Vazquez in 2006, Mrs. Vazquez continued a lifetime of service by volunteering for various organizations in St. Clairsville, including St. Mary's Catholic Church, until her passing in 2021.
It is with great hope that the recipients of this scholarship take advantage of this opportunity to continue forward in life with the same dedication to service and education as Dr. and Mrs. Vazquez.
