Harris Stanton Gallery Visual Arts Rising Senior Scholarship
The Harris Stanton Gallery Visual Arts Rising Senior Scholarship was funded by the 25th Annual silent auction proceeds benefiting local arts nonprofit. In 2018, the Harris Stanton Gallery selected Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Mary Schiller Myers School of Art as the silent auction beneficiary. The auction showcases more than 80 pieces by international and regional artists represented by Harris Stanton Gallery. Auction pieces include jewelry, glass, ceramics and fine art.
The Harris Stanton Gallery Visual Arts Rising Senior Scholarship will be awarded to a full- or part-time senior with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 who is majoring in visual arts and in need of financial assistance. The student must be in good academic standing and remain so while completing degree requirements at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Mary Schiller Myers School of Art. The recipient will be chosen through the annual Myers Studio Scholarship Competition with approval by the Director of The Mary Schiller Myers School of Art or by the University Scholarship Committee if the department is unable to do so.
