Ochsenhirt, Timothy and Roetzel & Andress, LPA, Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Timothy Ochsenhirt and Roetzel & Andress, LPA, Endowed Scholarship Fund at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ School of Law was established in 2007 as a result of the Roetzel & Andress, LPA, Firm Challenge 2007, wherein contributions to the fund from School of Law alumni employed by the firm were fully matched by Roetzel & Andress, LPA. The challenge was led by Amie Bruggeman, class of 1982, Of Counsel. The School of Law is grateful for her support and leadership, as well as that of attorneys Ronald S. Kopp and Timothy Ochsenhirt.

Ochsenhirt was named chairman and chief executive officer of Roetzel & Andress, LPA, in 1985 and has led the firm through unprecedented growth. He received a bachelor’s degree from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ in 1968 and his J.D. from the University of Virginia in 1971.

Ochsenhirt devotes much of his energy and expertise in leadership roles with organizations in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ community such as: founding board member of Info Line, Inc.; past president of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ National Alumni Board of Directors; Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Bar Scholarship Foundation board member; Imagine Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ 2025 Board of Advisors; Summit County Crime Stoppers board member; and as chairman of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Bar Association’s Diversity Committee. The School of Law is proud to honor Ochsenhirt for his commitment to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Law, the community, and the legal profession through the establishment of this scholarship fund.

Roetzel & Andress, LPA, is a valued partner and has helped further the growth and success of the School of Law. The firm’s commitment of support to the School of Law’s mission to better serve students is greatly appreciated.

The Timothy Ochsenhirt and Roetzel & Andress, LPA, Endowed Scholarship Fund is designated to scholarships for law students who are members of the Black Law Students Association and the Asian/Latino Student Association. Roetzel & Andress, LPA, is proud to assist students who work to foster diversity and demonstrate academic excellence and leadership. Scholarship awards may cover tuition, fees, books, and room and board, all or in part.
