Reymann, Charles J. Endowed Fund

The Charles J. Reymann Endowed Fund was established at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ in 1979 by the Charles and Salome Reymann Foundation in loving memory of Charles J. Reymann, a community and business leader in Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and a devoted family man.

Originally created to support an outstanding special education major, the fund was revised in 2024 to support students in the Office of Accessibility who are pursuing a degree while facing a disability, challenge, or limitation. Furthermore, the fund will transition to an endowed status.

The Charles J. Reymann Endowed Fund is dedicated to supporting students at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ who are pursuing degrees with assistance from the Office of Accessibility. Priority will be given to students encountering intellectual or mental challenges. Funds may be used for any purpose that will help students stay enrolled and persist to graduation, including tuition, assistive technology, or special accommodations. In the event no student is facing intellectual or mental challenges, support may be extended to help students with physical challenges. The director of the Office of Accessibility (or a similar role) will select recipients and make the final determination of how funds will be used. The Reymann Foundation or its representative will be notified by the director of the Office of Accessibility as to how and when funds are awarded. Funds used for purposes other than qualified educational expenses are reportable and may be taxable to the recipient.
