Elliott, Frederick W. Scholarship for Men's Soccer
The Frederick W. Elliott Scholarship for Men's Soccer was established in 2018, and revised in 2021, by Fred Elliott, a 1987 graduate of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ College of Engineering. He has been an avid and loyal fan of the Zips Men's Soccer program since 2009. As one of the program's longest-serving season ticket holders, Mr. Elliott is a familiar face around First Energy Stadium - Cub Cadet Field. He also supports the team on the road during regular and post-season matches and has attended all of the team's College Cup appearances, including the 2010 National Championship, with the exception of the 1986 appearance while he was a UA student.
The Frederick W. Elliott Scholarship for Men's Soccer must be awarded to a member of the Men's Soccer team. While not required, first consideration will be given for a student-athlete majoring in any engineering or STEM field. Annual award selection will be made by the head Men's Soccer coach. Mr. Elliott will be notified of the selection by a representative of UA.
