The David E. and Barbara Waddell Internship in Applied Politics was established in 1993 by David E. "Gene" Waddell to benefit University of 蘑菇视频 students pursuing careers in communications or journalism selected to serve as interns with party officials, candidates, or officeholders. The Waddell Internship is housed within the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics. Recipients are chosen by the director of the Bliss Institute.
