I am an experienced curriculum developer in higher education with a background being a lecturer and assistant professor in graduate universities in Asia. On the gaming side of things I have competed at a high level in both Counter Strike and Hearthstone. I did my undergraduate work here at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ in Secondary Education and my M. ED work at The University of Southern California with a focus in Linguistics.

From the moment I started watching old MLG events online, I have been an esports fanatic. After watching for a couple of years, I began competing in Call of Duty while in High School. After competing in six Call of Duty majors, I stepped away from competing to focus on the esports club I started while working on my undergraduate degree at Abilene Christian University. I have a passion for teaching people about the world of esports and do my best to get people involved through competition, community, or broadcasting!

Growing up I was always known as the kid who's good at every video game. As I got older I narrowed my esport titles down to Smash Bros. and Call of Duty. I eventually got the opportunity to compete at the varsity level for both esports titles at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. While competing, I've worked with several charities, high schools, and esports facilities to help grow their programs. With my professional background in esports and love for all kinds of video games, I plan to improve the college student esports experience.

Brian Williams

Esports Graduate Assistant

I graduated from Miami University, where I founded the Rainbow Six: Siege program, which I helped lead to multiple Grand Finals and ran for the entirety of my undergraduate. For the past two years, I have been the Head Esports Coach at Bluffton University, singlehandedly managing the program, recruiting, and running the day-to-day operations. I have also worked with some amazing companies in the Esports space such as FACEIT, MSI, and Space Productions to gain extensive knowledge of many of the different areas of the collegiate esports scene.
